PLATINUM-selling and Grammy-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak is returning to Australia for the first time since 2016, including at Geelong’s Mt Duneed Estate next weekend.

Again touring as part of the A Day on the Green concert series, Isaak will be supported by Boy & Bear, Vika & Linda, and Ella Hooper.

“I am sitting on my front porch in Nashville, Tennessee and smiling,” Isaak said.

“I have been stuck in my house for nine days because of the snow. But I have been in a great mood as I know I’m going back to Australia! I think it’s my favourite place to tour… or just hang out.

“I’m so ready! Bring on the sun! Bring on the beach! I think I’m gonna wax my guitar… I told you I was excited!”

Over the course of his nearly 40-year career, Isaak has performed to sold-out crowds across the globe with his longtime band Silvertone.

His work has also taken him behind the scenes, creating music for multiple film soundtracks, including Eyes Wide ShutTrue RomanceWild at Heart and Blue Velvet.

His Top 20 singles include “Somebody’s Crying” (1995), “Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing” (1999) and the career-defining “Wicked Game” (1989), which boasts more than half a billion streams on Spotify alone.

Chris Isaak will perform at Mt Duneed Estate on April 6.
