REIV market snapshot – July 4, 2019

A clearance rate of 73 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 70 per cent the week before and 62 per cent this same week last year.

There were 404 auctions reported to the REIV, with 296 selling and 108 being passed in, 38 of those on a vendor bid.

Eighty per cent of auction sales in greater Melbourne so far this year have been concentrated in inner and middle suburbs which is the highest level since 2015.
