THE Ballarat Miners have announced a new partnership with APCO Service Stations.

The organisation will be the Miners official fuel partner for the rest of the 2024 to 2025 season.

Basketball Ballarat partnerships and marketing manager Chris Thornton said it was exciting to team up with the big business.

“We are thrilled to be entering into this new partnership with a well-known and trusted company such as APCO Service Stations and are looking forward to working closely with their team by engaging with both of our supporters and community members,” he said.

“APCO has a strong focus on investing in regional areas and their local community, with our Ballarat Miners being a regional team playing on the national stage this, along with our aligning key values, makes for a perfect partnership moving forward.”

APCO won three awards in their industry this year for excellence in food and coffee offer development, and the Alfredton location was named best independent and store of the year.

“As two proud locals, this collaboration represents a perfect alignment of community spirit,” said APCO strategic partnerships and event lead Jess Guareschi.

“Together with Ballarat Basketball, we look forward to fuelling the excitement and passion of basketball enthusiasts while continuing to serve our loyal customers with quality barista made coffee, fresh food, friendly service and the convenience they expect from our three APCO stores in Ballarat; Main Road, Skipton Street and Learmonth Road Alfredton”.

More details of the partnership will be announced at the start of the 2025 NBL1 South Season.
