Ballarat Rush rebrands with Selkirk
SELKIRK Pty Ltd will be the new Naming Rights Partner of senior elite women’s basketball team, Ballarat Rush, for the next three years.
At the announcement at Selkirk’s Howitt Street base last Thursday, a fresh Selkirk Ballarat Rush co-brand logo was launched.
Basketball Ballarat Partnership Manager, Andrew Day said he was thrilled about partnering with the brand – the largest privately-owned manufacturer of clay bricks in Australia.
“This really is a fantastic result for Basketball Ballarat having such an iconic Ballarat brand with an outstanding community reputation in Selkirk partnering with us,” Mr Day said .
“The relationship will be greatly beneficial to the Women’s Basketball Program.”
Selkirk General Manager Sales and Marketing, Andrew Tranquilli said the partnership was a great opportunity to promote local talent and contribute to the community in which they manufacture their bricks.
He said the strength of the women’s program made it a “no brainer.”
Selkirk is a Ballarat-based company that produces and markets 50 million bricks a year and has been privately owned by the Selkirk family for over 135 years. They currently employ 90 local and Melbourne based employees.
