BUXTON Real Estate Group is partnering with Ballarat Basketball Association to support community sport.
The multi-year agreement will involve the renaming of the Ballarat Minerdome to the Buxton Minerdome and a range of upgrades to the facility.
Peter Burley, Director of Buxton Real Estate Group, said the organisation is thrilled to support the next generation of local athletes.
“This is more than just a sponsorship, it’s an investment in people, passion and potential,” he said.
“As we continue to grow our footprint across regional Victoria, it’s essential that we contribute meaningfully to the communities we serve, not only through real estate, but through partnerships that drive social connection and community outcomes.”
New signage will be installed at the centre’s entrance and along the facade, the exterior will be repainted, there will be new artwork and Buxton signage installed inside the facility, and some courts will be resurfaced and rebranded.
Chris Thornton, Partnerships and Marketing Manager at Ballarat Basketball Association, said the partnership is about a shared commitment to sport.
“This partnership with Buxton Ballarat marks a significant milestone for our association and the community we serve,” he said.
“The Buxton Minerdome is more than a name, it represents a shared commitment to investing in local sport, creating a better experience for our members, and building something the whole region can be proud of.”
