FOREST Rangers Soccer Club is more than just a place to play football. It’s a thriving, inclusive community built on passion, teamwork, and a deep love for the game.

Nestled in the heart of Ballarat, the club has proudly created a home for players of all ages and abilities, providing an environment where everyone is encouraged to grow, belong, and thrive.

From our littlest juniors taking their first steps on the pitch to our senior teams proudly wearing the green and white, Forest Rangers is committed to creating a safe and welcoming space. The focus goes beyond winning games. We strive to build confidence, character, and lifelong friendships. Every player, coach, volunteer, and supporter plays a part in shaping our strong, supportive club culture.

At the core of our success are the tireless volunteers and dedicated coaches who give their time and energy week in and week out. Whether it’s marking lines, setting up goals, running the canteen, or mentoring young players, their commitment is what keeps the club running smoothly. Their behind-the-scenes work often goes unseen but never unappreciated.

Forest Rangers has also played an important role in promoting gender equality and participation across all levels. We’ve worked hard to create meaningful pathways for girls and women in football and to support every player with opportunities to learn, lead, and excel. Our club proudly reflects the diversity of our community and strives to make football accessible and enjoyable for all.

The dedication of our players is just as strong. One of our most loyal club members recently celebrated an incredible milestone – playing their 600th game in the green and white. A true example of passion, perseverance, and loyalty, this achievement highlights the lifelong connection many have with Forest Rangers.

We’re also proud of our Junior Meal Program, which ensures all junior players receive a hot meal on training nights. With the generous support of Vic Urban Plumbing, we’ve been running this initiative for over 20 years, helping to fuel our young athletes and create a stronger sense of club community.

But the impact of the Rangers reaches beyond the soccer field. The club is a social hub – a place where families connect, kids make memories, and the community comes together.

At Forest Rangers, we don’t just create players, we create a sense of belonging, community pride, and a lifelong love for football.
