Get ready for country racing!

MEMBERS of the Ballarat Turf Club are gearing up for this year’s Ecycle Solutions Grand National Day.

The program will feature six race jumps and marketing manager Daniel Martyn said there will be plenty on offer for attendees.

“There’s a six-race card throughout the day with jumps racing for each of the races and of course hurdles and steeplechases,” he said.

“It’s the perfect day to see some of our great jumping athletes on show.

“It will be a great day out.”

As well as racing, attendees can enjoy live music, food and entertainment for the whole family.

A courtesy bus will also be available taking attendees from Itinerant Spirits to the track.

“We’ve got live music on course with Mitchell Matheson singing your favourite tunes on the day,” said Mr Martyn.

“Everyone will enjoy the great atmosphere of the music that is going to be performed.”

Mr Martyn said it promises to be a great day of country racing.

“I think it’s a great day out because it will most likely be great weather, they can watch athletes and listen to some live music,” he said.

“It’s a great county atmosphere.”
