MAJOK Majok has re-signed with the Ballarat Miners for this year’s NBL1 South season.
Last season, Majok showed experience and leadership averaging 13.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, and a field goal percentage of 52.83 per cent.
Majok said he is thrilled to return for another season with the Miners.
“The community, my teammates, and the coaching staff were all incredible last year, and I’m excited to build on what we started,” he said.
“We came so close, and now the goal is to take that next step and go even further.
“I can’t wait to get back on the court and compete with this group again.”
He is part of the South East Melbourne Phoenix roster in the NBL, where Miners head coach Luke Brennan is an assistant coach.
“Stoked to have the big fella back for another season,” Brennan said.
“Majok provided us with some much needed toughness around the basket last year and he also gives us a high level of experience.”
Majok is the fifth signing for this year’s men’s squad joining Nick Stoddart, Aiden Krause, Clancy Bird and Andrew Robinson.
The Ballarat Miners begin the season at home against Bendigo on Saturday 29 March.
