Partnership helps Ballarat basketball thrive

BALLARAT Basketball and the Miners have celebrated thirty years of working with Integra Group.

The three-decade partnership has assisted Basketball Ballarat in growing, and directors of Integra Group Matt Agterhuis and Nick Grylewicz have also been players, coaches and board members.

“One of our core values here at Integra is the commitment to building strong communities, that’s at the heart of what we do,” Mr Agterhuis said.

“When I think of community, I think of health, education, and sport, as they form the foundation of a thriving community.

“So, when we can connect with those pillars, like the Miners and Ballarat Basketball, it plays a key role in fostering deeper community engagement.”

Ballarat Basketball CEO Nev Ivey said Integra’s support has been vital in the growth of the organisation’s programs.

“Over the past three decades, their support has been instrumental in enabling us to develop and expand our programs,” he said.

“Matt, Nick, and the entire Integra team have always been more than just sponsors, they have been true partners in every sense.

“Together, we’ve created opportunities for so many athletes, coaches, and volunteers, and this partnership has helped us build a stronger, more vibrant basketball community in Ballarat.”
