LUCAS’ Woolworths supermarket is entering a new era following major renovations.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the month, the new-look Coltman Plaza story was relaunched after five months’ worth of works.<\/p>\n
This period saw the creation of a fresh front area, a full production bakery, an online order processing room, and undercover direct-to-boot pick-up bays.<\/p>\n
“We’re excited to see the renovations wrap up and bring a new shopping experience to local shoppers,” store manager Rick Dunne said.<\/p>\n
He said a wider fresh produce and local product range is available, and an electronic ticketing system is being used to reduce paper waste.<\/p>\n
Fifteen new staff members have also been employed.<\/p>\n
“There have been lots of changes to help the team and help our customers get the most out of the shop, whether it’s finding a larger range of groceries across all departments or changes in the store layout to make it more convenient for everyone coming in and out of the store,” Mr Dunne said.<\/p>\n
“Another great part of this process has been growing our team.<\/p>\n
“It’s good to have some fresh faces on board and many of these team members will be helping to support the online orders.”<\/p>\n
It’s expected that 700 online orders will be able to be processed by Woolworths Lucas staff within a seven-day period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
