This year will celebrate a decade of the ice-skating rink and the community can get tickets to the attraction at a discounted price.<\/p>\n
Collect a discount code from any Ballarat-run hospitality or tourism business after spending $25 or more and receive 15 per cent off the purchase of tickets.<\/p>\n
“It will be the 10th anniversary of the ice-skating in Ballarat which is a great landmark,” said Cr Hudson.<\/p>\n
“Cost of living pressures as always at the moment is something that is really making a difference for families.<\/p>\n
“This is an initiative that we are trying to ease a little bit of that pain because we know the kids will be saying, ‘can we go?'”<\/p>\n
The festival is expected to generate about $1.5 million of economic activity.<\/p>\n
“It is another significant boost to our local venues and operators,” said Cr Hudson.<\/p>\n
