GRAMPIANS Health will be part of an Australian-first health economic evaluation which will use digital tools to optimise care for people with lung cancer.<\/p>\n
Called the Simfonia project, it will be completed in collaboration with Roche Diagnostics.<\/p>\n
“We are committed to providing quality care to our regional communities,” said Grampians Health strategy and regions officer Dr Rob Grenfell.<\/p>\n
“The Simfonia project will help us unlock more value from our existing resources to further enhance care delivery for patients with lung cancer and will add on to our ongoing efforts to provide world-class lung cancer care across regional Victoria.”<\/p>\n
Grampians Health is the second organisation to go live with the project after the launch was completed in Barcelona last year.<\/p>\n
The Grampians Region Population Health Plan 2023 to 2029 shows that the region has a higher incidence of lung cancer compared to the state average.<\/p>\n
The expected outcomes of the project include optimising patient pathways, improving the integration of services, maximising the use of resources, and reviewing opportunities to use new technologies.<\/p>\n
