(Some of my time here includes the COVID epidemic and all the lockdown times.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Associated with a political party or movement?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am not represented by any party and have never been involved with any party &#8211; I am totally independent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferencing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have not made a decision about who I will award my preference votes. I need to get to know the others standing and their beliefs before I decide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Campaign budget? Receiving financial support?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My budget is less than $100. I am not taking money from anyone. I didn&#8217;t want to print anything because I don&#8217;t want to waste resources and contribute to waste, but I have decided to print some cards (postcard size) because I need to make sure I get my name out to the people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three most important issues in your ward?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Transparency and equity between the wards in regard to finances.<\/p>\n<p>Supporting the environment and ensuring we do our part to conserve resources and reduce waste including the repair of our roads.<\/p>\n<p>To support those of our neighbors doing life hard because of the economy whether they are homeless, facing homelessness, finding reasonable rentals or having a hard time feeding their family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CITY OF BALLARAT North Ward Rebecca McIntosh Occupation: Semi Retired and Wildlife Victoria Volunteer.
