I am employed by the National Tertiary Education Union, based at Federation University.<\/p>\n

Resides:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sebastopol.<\/p>\n

How long have you lived in your ward?:<\/p>\n

I have been a resident for more than 25 years. I have also had a lifelong relationship with Sebastopol though my Grandparents.<\/p>\n

Community involvement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been heavily involved in the community, particularly in relation to human rights and employment rights issues.<\/p>\n

I am a life member of Ballarat Trades and Labour Council and a trustee of the historic Ballarat Trades Hall.<\/p>\n

Associated with a political party or movement?:<\/p>\n

I am not and have never been a member of a political party, but I am politically active both professionally and personally.<\/p>\n

Campaign budget? Receiving financial support?:<\/p>\n

I am funding my campaign. I am not receiving any financial assistance, but I may receive some small personal donations.<\/p>\n

Three most important issues in your ward?:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Supporting growth and development, but ensuring that as we grow, we protect what we love about our city.<\/p>\n

Ensuring that our infrastructure and services keep up with our growth and lag years behind so that growth and development benefits everyone.<\/p>\n

Promoting a transparent, consultative, and accountable council that acts in the best interest of our community and provides residents with value.<\/p>\n

Ensuring that Sebastopol is no longer neglected through equity of services and provision of infrastructure. Sebastopol is the southern gateway to our city and should be a focal point.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
