Federation University Australia has improved its score in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.<\/p>\n
The University was ranked in the top 401 to 500 universities in the world for 2025 after previously being within the top 601 to 800 institutions globally.<\/p>\n
It was one of four Australian universities that improved their ranking this year.<\/p>\n
Federation University vice-chancellor and president, Professor Duncan Bentley, said the improvement is due to improved performance in research environment, research quality, international outlook and industry fields.<\/p>\n
“Federation University’s improved ranking in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings is the result of our university’s ongoing commitment to research excellence, industry partnership and our unique approach to education through our co-operative education model,” he said.<\/p>\n
“This improvement in our global ranking will help boost our reputation and provides recognition of our commitment to transforming lives and enhancing communities.”<\/p>\n
The co-operative education model prepares students for work with direct connections to employers, paid placements, career preparation and workplace skill development.<\/p>\n
The improved ranking comes after Federation University Australia received the top score in Victoria in the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) Graduate Outcomes Survey for full-time post graduate employment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
