FEDERATION University Australia is teaming up with Melbourne City Football Club to launch a new Diploma of Business and Sports Management.<\/p>\n

The twelve-month course combines theory and hands-on learning at the club’s training facility in Casey Fields.<\/p>\n

Students will be surrounded by industry experts from Melbourne City FC and the City Football Group to help them gain knowledge to manage people, build networks and lead teams.<\/p>\n

“This exciting collaboration allows students to tap into a wide range of industry experience from not only an A-League team, but the rich global knowledge of the broader City Football Group,” said Federation University vice-chancellor and president, Professor Duncan Bentley<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to launch this course in collaboration with Melbourne City FC as it will provide students that have a passion for sport the opportunity to pathway into a bachelor’s degree and further develop their business acumen.”<\/p>\n

The course will focus on international sports management, digital marketing and human resources with 100 hours of work placement.<\/p>\n

Students who complete the course can transition into the second year of a Bachelor of Business degree.<\/p>\n
