JENNY’S Early Learning Centre staff and charity The Sisterhood Project have partnered to deliver first aid training for parents and carers in the Ballarat region.<\/p>\n
Early learning educators will be trained by PAEDS Education and other accredited first aid providers with support from The Sisterhood Project’s officers.<\/p>\n
“This is our first official partnership at The Sisterhood Project, and we’re incredibly excited to create this sustainable model,” paediatric intensive care nurse and The Sisterhood Project co-founder Grace Larson said. “This partnership not only ensures Jenny’s ELC educators receive essential training but also directly benefits the families they serve by providing access to potentially life-saving skills.”<\/p>\n
Jenny’s ELC facilities operate across Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong, and proceeds from the partnership will go to infant and child first aid training for parents and carers.<\/p>\n
“We are incredibly supportive of our parents and carers having access to this vital training,” Jenny’s ELC marketing manage Jess Hourigan said.<\/p>\n
“This initiative will ensure a continuity of understanding around health literacy and first aid, ultimately having a significant impact on child safety and the prevention of accidents and injuries.”<\/p>\n
The Sisterhood Project aims to prevent and reduce childhood deaths in emergencies, from illnesses, accidents, injuries, and conditions like respiratory diseases.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
