Western United will create another milestone on Friday 9 May, hosting its first-ever Isuzu UTE A-League Men Elimination Final at Ironbark Fields in Tarneit.<\/p>\n

Kick-off is scheduled for 7.35pm, as John Aloisi\u2019s side faces Adelaide United in a do-or-die clash for a spot in the semi-finals. It also marks the first time an A-League final will be played in a Victorian location outside Melbourne\u2019s CBD, making it a landmark event for Wyndham City.<\/p>\n

The match signals Western United\u2019s return to finals football for the first time since their 2022 championship win and follows a record-breaking regular season, with the side achieving its highest-ever points tally (47), most wins (14), and goals scored (55).<\/p>\n

Ironbark Fields has become a true fortress for the Green and Black, with five consecutive wins and seven victories from 11 home games this season. The last meeting between the two sides at the venue ended in a commanding 3-0 win for United in February.<\/p>\n

Friday night\u2019s elimination final promises more than just football, with a huge line-up of activities, entertainment, and food on offer for fans of all ages. From food trucks and face painting to giveaways, live DJs and a buzzing Western Beergarden, Ironbark Fields will come alive well before kick-off.<\/p>\n

Western United members receive 10% off tickets, with reserved seat members granted first access to their same seats. Tickets are available at ticketek.com.au<\/a>, and any remaining will be sold at the venue\u2019s Ticket Box from 6.00pm.<\/p>\n

Train shuttle services will run from Tarneit and Werribee stations, and on-site parking is available with pre-booking advised. Fans are urged to be in their seats by 7.20pm to catch the full pre-game finals experience.<\/p>\n

United’s passionate supporters have played a key role all season, and now the club is calling on them to take the energy to another level.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s already been a season to remember, but finals football has arrived, and the mission for more history continues.<\/p>\n
