A model of consistency this season, Abbie O’Brien was the Swans’ standout at goal keeper, underpinned by her strong rebounding.<\/p>\n
Famke McCallum (20 goals at 83.33 per cent) and Grace Jackson (13 goals) enhanced their goal ring partnership with solid performances.<\/p>\n
Nunn said “self-belief” would be a key for the Swans in their next assignment against a much-improved Redan.<\/p>\n
The Lions, who defeated North Ballarat a fortnight ago, will be on the rebound after being pipped in a thriller against Redan last Saturday.<\/p>\n
“We’ll need to make sure we keep our positive talk up and when things don’t go our way, keep the second efforts coming,” Nunn said.<\/p>\n
“We do have some really lovely passages of play down the court, it’s just working towards that consistency.<\/p>\n
“I have no doubt we will be competitive with Redan as we keep improving each week.”<\/p>\n
