A NEW Central Highlands Water Choose Tap water fountain has been installed at Invermay Primary School.<\/p>\n
The fountain aims to encourage students to refill reusable water bottles inside of using single-use plastic.<\/p>\n
“Our students are proud to be making everyday choices that support a healthier environment,” Invermay Primary School principal, Justin Marshman said.<\/p>\n
“The new Choose Tap fountain is not just about staying hydrated, it’s about learning the value of sustainability and making a real difference, one refill at a time.”<\/p>\n
The installation of the fountain coincided with World Environment Day earlier this month.<\/p>\n
The day calls for collective action to stop plastic pollution which threatens aquatic life and environments.<\/p>\n
“We’re proud to support Invermay Primary School through our Choose Tap program,” Central Highlands Water managing director Jeff Haydon said.<\/p>\n
