AUSTRALIAN Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and multiple ARIA Award winner Kate Ceberano will return to Ballarat as part of her 2025 Australian Made Tour on Saturday 19 July.<\/p>\n

The tour promises to blend highlights from her own catalogue with some of Australia’s most iconic anthems in a heartfelt tribute to the songs and artists that have helped shape and inspire her career.<\/p>\n

From her own band I’m Talking (which formed in Melbourne in 1983), to Divinyls, Models, INXS, Mental as Anything, Jimmy Barnes, Sia, Icehouse, Silverchair, John Farnham, Australian Crawl, Bernard Fanning, Jimmy Little, The Church, Renee Geyer, Paul Kelly and more, Ceberano is preparing to bring her own spin to the great Australian songbook.<\/p>\n

“I’ll be singing songs I’ve had the privilege to be a part of and paying homage to some of the greats I’ve known and admired,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Expect a ton of Australian classics and handpicked surprises. I can’t wait to hit the road and share my music and memories about them all.<\/p>\n

“It’s so important for me to express my culture, my Australia, in song.<\/p>\n

“This tour is a love letter to the artists, bands, audiences, and storytellers I’ve travelled with over this vast continent for four decades.<\/p>\n

“It’s a deep dive into what makes me an Australian artist – my hungry heart holding their words to my chest, making them the soundtrack to my life.”<\/p>\n

The tour’s title harks back to Ceberano’s breakthrough moment.<\/p>\n

At just 20 years old, she performed as part of the original Australian Made tour during 1986 and 1987, sharing stages with INXS, Jimmy Barnes, Models, Mental as Anything and Divinyls.<\/p>\n

Ceberano’s 2025 Australian Made Tour stops off at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday 19 July.<\/p>\n
