FEDERATION University has been named within the top ten per cent of institutions globally for sustainable development.<\/p>\n
It was also among the top 25 universities for gender equality in the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings.<\/p>\n
The rankings measure the contributions of more than 2300 universities to the United Nations sustainable impact goals.<\/p>\n
“We know that education transforms lives, and by reaching students who might otherwise be left behind, we foster intergenerational change that uplifts families, communities, and entire regions,” acting vice-chancellor, Samantha Bartlett said.<\/p>\n
“We’re proud to enrol the highest proportion of first-in-family students in the country and to partner with government and industry to design courses that respond to real workforce needs, delivering graduates who are job-ready, skilled, and in-demand where they’re needed most.<\/p>\n
“Our co-operative education model promotes decent work and economic growth by allowing students to earn while they study and providing a pipeline of skilled graduates to address critical skills shortages in regional areas.”<\/p>\n
Federation’s overall result was 82.8 out of 100, placing it in the top 201 to 300 universities.<\/p>\n
