Bar\u00e7a Academy Geelong will bring one of the world\u2019s most respected football training programs to the region this spring, offering young players a rare opportunity to train under official FC Barcelona coaches.<\/p>\n

The five-day camp at Myers Reserve, running from 22 to 26 September, will be led by professionals from Spain, delivering the same methods used at La Masia, Barcelona\u2019s legendary youth academy.<\/p>\n

While many international programs target only capital cities, Bar\u00e7a Academy is taking a different approach.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur mission is to make football excellence accessible. Not just in capitals, but in communities like Geelong that are full of potential,\u201d said Marina, part of the academy\u2019s Australian expansion team.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Training will focus on decision-making, technical ability and tactical awareness, with small-sided games, position-specific drills and team exercises. The academy\u2019s philosophy also emphasises humility, respect and teamwork.<\/p>\n

Since launching in Australia and New Zealand, Bar\u00e7a Academy has already trained more than 2,500 children, creating a network of players inspired by the club\u2019s distinctive style.<\/p>\n

Bar\u00e7a Academy Geelong offers more than local training. Standout participants from camps worldwide may be invited to represent the academy at international tournaments or travel to Spain to compete against local teams. More than 350 Australians have taken part in these global experiences so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is to give Australian players a truly immersive experience of how we live football in Barcelona. It\u2019s part of our culture,\u201d Marina said.<\/p>\n
