APPLICATIONS are open for two of the City of Ballarat’s grant programs.<\/p>\n

Community groups can apply for the City of Ballarat Community Impact Grants program<\/a> and the city partnerships grants program, which each have different purposes.<\/p>\n

The community impact grant program provides small-scale funding for projects, events and initiatives that create participation and support inclusion.<\/p>\n

It is designed for community organisations, not-for-profits and volunteer-led groups and funding between $5,000 and $20,000 is on offer.<\/p>\n

The city partnerships program is focused on long\u2011term strategic partnerships that align with the municipality\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n

Multi\u2011year funding is awarded to well\u2011established organisations that have a record for completing projects that provide community benefits.<\/p>\n

Partnerships are considered for funding exceeding $20,000. There is a community stream and a commercial stream.<\/p>\n

The multi\u2011year agreement can be for up to three years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are incredibly proud to work so closely with the community in these partnerships and we have seen some terrific examples of what can be achieved when we work together,\u201d said mayor Cr\u202fTracey Hargreaves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese grants represent more than just funding, they are a show of confidence in the people and groups who help make Ballarat a great place to live.<\/p>\n
