THE Rotary Club of Ballarat launched its SpringFest fundraising program for 2025 at the Ballarat Golf Club last week.<\/p>\n

This year will mark the 30th anniversary of SpringFest Market Sunday by Lake Wendouree, raising funds for the event’s community partners – Ballarat High School, Miners Rest Primary School, Phoenix P-12 Community College, and Cafs – and Rotary projects.<\/p>\n

SpringFest ambassadors Julia Zass and Tim Bone are on board again, and launched the program alongside club president Peter Dunn, and the Victorian and Tasmanian general manager of naming rights sponsor Optus, Jayson Grool.<\/p>\n

“SpringFest Ballarat is all about showcasing the very best of our community \u2013 from food and music to sport, entertainment and culture,” said SpringFest co-director Rob Glass.<\/p>\n

“We are so proud to align our 30th festival year with the 100-year milestone of Rotary in Ballarat.<\/p>\n

“SpringFest wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors, partners and volunteers. We are excited to deliver a festival that not only entertains but also makes a real difference to our community.”<\/p>\n

The Market Sunday is locked in for Sunday 30 November in the Lake Wendouree Gardens Precinct, with 450 stalls, the popular Show ‘n’ Glow and vintage car display, a pop-up stage for young performing artists, a new South Gardens food precinct, Optus and sports zones, and the Frontline Services Area.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the SpringFest Ballarat Online Raffle can be purchased now, with a prize pool of more than $10,000 made possible by local businesses.<\/p>\n

Also part of the 30th anniversary festivities are a Harness Racing Night on Thursday 16 October at Bray Raceway, and Ballarat Carols by Candlelight on Saturday 20 December at the new Ballarat Showgrounds, Mount Rowan. SpringFest is set to manage Carols’ food vendor program.<\/p>\n

“This year’s program reflects everything people love about SpringFest \u2013 markets, music, food, cars, sport and Christmas spirit \u2013 while also showcasing new features that keep the festival fresh and exciting,” said SpringFest co-director David Torrington.<\/p>\n
