SPRINGFEST will return to the Lake Wendouree gardens precinct this Sunday, and event ambassadors Tim Bone and Jules Zass are inviting the community to get amongst all the market day has to offer.<\/p>\n

There will be more than 450 stalls, entertainment, and kids’ activities, and the pair encouraged marketgoers to arrive early and bring cash to have the best experience.<\/p>\n

“Pack a picnic blanket and really make a day of it because there’s so much to see and enjoy,” Bone said.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the raffle are already available and can be purchased online on the SpringFest website. Here attendees can also find maps, stall directories, parking information, activity schedules, and accessibility details.<\/p>\n

Zass and Bone said attendees should bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, breathable clothing and a picnic rug, try the offerings of gourmet food trucks, and use reusable water bottles, coffee cups, and shopping bags.<\/p>\n

“Come hungry because there is so many amazing food stalls,” Zass said.<\/p>\n

“Have an early brekkie, come hungry and bring recyclable bags so that you can just load them up with everything.”<\/p>\n

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Market Sunday event which began as an initiative of Clarendon College and is now organised by the Rotary Club of Ballarat.<\/p>\n

All money raised will support this year’s community partners which are Cafs Ballarat, Ballarat High School, Miners Rest Primary School and Kindergarten, Phoenix P\u201312 Community College, and the Rotary Club of Ballarat’s community and international projects.<\/p>\n

“The money raised is staying locally and helping local organisations,” Bone said.<\/p>\n

“We always also need to give Rotary a massive shoutout because this is 30 years of SpringFest and 100 years of Rotary in Ballarat.”<\/p>\n

The event will be on Sunday 30 November from 10am until 4pm at the gardens precinct at Lake Wendouree.<\/p>\n

Free parking is available along surrounding streets.<\/p>\n
