BALLARAT City Skatepark, located at Len T Frazer Reserve, is set to expand and the City of Ballarat is seeking community feedback.<\/p>\n
Concept designs have been released for the site on Main Road, with the upgrades to include repairs to the current skatepark and new elements.<\/p>\n
Engagement has been conducted with the skating community and a key priority to come from this is more elements that are suitable for younger users and beginners.<\/p>\n
Two in-person drop-in sessions that were open to the community, have already been held.<\/p>\n
“We know how important this skatepark is to many people in Ballarat, especially our younger community members,” mayor Cr Tracey Hargreaves said.<\/p>\n
“I encourage people to provide feedback to help us ensure the expansion and upgrade of the skate park is the best it can be.”<\/p>\n
Feedback is particularly being sought from women, girls and gender diverse people.<\/p>\n
