The event’s guest speaker, Michael Gooch, is scheduled to make his appearance at 12.30pm when he will discuss his Explore the Mallee tourism business based near Patchewollock.<\/p>\n
Mr Haynes said the reunion’s annual general meeting will take place at 1pm.<\/p>\n
“[It’s] the reason we go back to this particular part of the world,” he said.<\/p>\n
“The main business is the election of office bearers and deciding the venue for the 2027 reunion.”<\/p>\n
Mr Haynes said the reunion was funded purely through donations, and a collection box will be set up on the day for contributions.<\/p>\n
“At 3pm the old movies will again be screened for attendees who are able to stay and enjoy,” he said.<\/p>\n
Mr Haynes said with people travelling from throughout Victoria, organisers were hoping that many would be able to stay overnight.<\/p>\n
“Accommodation options have previously been listed on Facebook sites and emails distributed to previous attendees,” he said.<\/p>\n
