“We’ve also got a couple of large youth cattle programs that are looking at coming to Ballarat and holding major youth camps at the site,” Mrs Gallagher said.<\/p>\n
“But to be able to do that we’re going to need more cattle stalling, so to be successful in this grant just helps us financially to be able to achieve the equipment that we require for that.<\/p>\n
“These stalls are helping us to provide state-of-the-art, safe cattle stalling for our livestock exhibitors.”<\/p>\n
She said the stalling from Australian Stockyard Company would be ready before Ballarat’s show in November.<\/p>\n
“We are thrilled to achieve further economic benefit to Ballarat from the grant, by us being able to have these cattle stalls built right here in Ballarat,” Mrs Gallagher said.<\/p>\n
The funding was provided as part of the state government’s 2025 Agricultural and Pastoral Society Grants Program.<\/p>\n
