A short time later, two more caf\u00e9s on Sturt Street in Alfredton were allegedly broken into just after 4am.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1260\">Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been working to piece together the movements linked to the incidents, leading to the arrest of a local man.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1368\">A 31-year-old Sebastopol man has now been charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of theft.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1474\">He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear before Ballarat Magistrates\u2019 Court at a later date.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1617\">Police have not indicated whether the incidents are believed to be linked beyond the timing and locations, but investigations remain ongoing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1761\">The alleged offences have raised concerns among local caf\u00e9 owners, particularly given the early morning timing when businesses are unoccupied.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"1883\">Victoria Police continue to urge anyone with information about suspicious activity in the Ballarat area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.\">crimestoppersvic.com.au.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ballarat detectives have charged a man following a string of alleged early morning caf\u00e9 burglaries across the city this week.
