Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Maryborough after a rider was found deceased early Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Elgin and Phelan roads about 7.20am on 23 April.<\/p>\n

A male rider was located at the scene alongside his motorcycle.<\/p>\n

It is believed the crash occurred sometime overnight.<\/p>\n

Investigators say the rider may have lost control of the motorcycle before it left the roadway.<\/p>\n

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear as police work to piece together what happened in the hours before the discovery.<\/p>\n

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area, to come forward.<\/p>\n

The roads where the incident occurred are typically quiet, raising hopes that passing motorists or nearby residents may still hold crucial information.<\/p>\n

Police have urged anyone with details, no matter how minor they may seem, to assist in the investigation.<\/p>\n
