We coordinate monthly Biznet Breakfasts to connect the business community as a means of forging new knowledge, relationships, and exploration of local venues.<\/p>\n
In 2026, we will deliver initiatives such as b2b Buy Local campaigns, Development Workshops, Forage & Feast, Central Highlands Growers & Producers Hub, NextGen Collective, B31 August Business Festival, and of course, the 2026 Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n
Membership with Commerce Ballarat offers exclusive access to these initiatives, as well as specialised assistance, marketing, and attention from our team and our many channels.<\/p>\n
In 2025, our social media viewership increased from 200,000 to just under two million. We are deeply proud of the exposure we can offer our membership, and the wider community by extension.<\/p>\n
Additionally, we engage with Ballarat secondary schools to offer guidance, information, and contacts to the next generation of professionals within our region. We are rich with opportunity in Ballarat, as well as burgeoning young talent.<\/p>\n
We also voluntarily facilitate the Victorian Regional Chamber Alliance, bringing together and amplifying regional and rural voices.<\/p>\n
Having access to this dense matrix of perspectives has been unbelievably constructive in informing our advocacy efforts on behalf of the region.<\/p>\n
Commerce Ballarat also plays an important role in fostering collaboration between industries, encouraging businesses of all sizes to work together, support local supply chains, and strengthen the regional economy.<\/p>\n
Through networking events, industry engagement, advocacy campaigns, and targeted promotion, we aim to ensure Ballarat remains a thriving place to live, work, invest and do business.<\/p>\n
