WOOLSHED Clothing was established in 1996 by Pam and Colin Sefton at The Great Southern Woolshed on the Western Highway.<\/p>\n
Opening a clothing shop was never on the cards for Pam and Col, but when the opportunity arose, they jumped on it.<\/p>\n
Col was a Clothing Sales Rep on the road for over 55 years through his working life and had the knowledge and connections to build a retail business with great quality products.<\/p>\n
As part of a popular tourist attraction, the business quickly built a loyal following and reputation of great products.<\/p>\n
When The Great Southern Woolshed closed, they relocated the shop into Ballarat City.<\/p>\n
The move brang new customers and a new following, as Pam grew the business for 21 years providing quality apparel for Men and Women.<\/p>\n
After many years of working in the business, it was time for Pam and Col to retire and their daughter Danielle decided to take over, after working in admin and with a young family she thought it would be a flexible opportunity and hasn’t looked back.<\/p>\n
Danielle has put her own touches on the shop over the years but has kept all the excellent quality garments and added new labels expanding the variety of clothing.<\/p>\n
She is catering for women of all ages with modern and classic styles. They have a wonderful range of men’s knitwear available as well.<\/p>\n
Woolshed Clothing is also known for the best place in town to get your Winter Lambswool Slippers. They have been supporting EMU Australia and Merino Craft UGGs for over 20 years now and love supporting Australian Made.<\/p>\n
Turning 30 this year means the world to Danielle and her family.<\/p>\n
The fact that she has been able to keep the business going strong through COVID years and the way people are shopping online these days.<\/p>\n
The shop certainly wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all our wonderful customers that keep returning and supporting us.<\/p>\n
The key to success for Woolshed Clothing is having an amazing team of likeminded, fun and wonderful women that work with Danielle to share her vision of not only being a store but a community or hub for the locals, where everyone is welcome.
