BALLARAT Base Hospital Trained Nurses League recently hosted its members at its AGM, an afternoon tea and a reunion dinner at the Ballarat Golf Club in celebration of its 90th year.<\/p>\n
Members travelled from across the country to renew old friendships, many having not seen each other for years.<\/p>\n
Guest speaker President of the Returned and Services Nurses Club of Victoria Sub-Branch RSL retired ARRC Colonel Jan McCarthy\u2019s address focussed on the WWI nurses, whom she said, \u201cDeserve to be remembered as a proud determined group who provided an extraordinary quality of skilled service and caring to nurse their boys.\u201d<\/p>\n
