CITY of Ballarat has released the Ballarat Town Hall Audio Tour – a mobile-friendly website for visitors wanting to explore the building using their smart phone,<\/p>\n

At 10 places within the Town Hall building, signified by a wall marker, there are links to online content, including audio, images and written information about the building and the many people and objects that have brought it to life over the years.<\/p>\n

Topics covered in the tour include Ballarat\u2019s first female mayor, the former glory of the A Hall as a grand reception and ballroom, and how the Alfred Bells were installed in the bell tower.<\/p>\n
