\u201cBoxing Day race meeting offers the whole family an opportunity to gather together for a fun and relaxing day,\u201d said Belinda Eden, Business Development and Marketing manager for the Trotting Club.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt also offers parents and family, time to sit and relax after the Christmas rush and enjoy the up and close experience with the horses we offer at Ballarat.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Boxing Day race meeting is a kid focused event with each child receiving a free sausage, soft drink and icy pole.<\/p>\n
The kid friendly fun doesn\u2019t stop there with a jumping castle, face painting and pony trots to keep the tin lids entertained while the grown-ups take well-earned break.<\/p>\n
Dining in the Terrace Restaurant includes a two-course meal for $26, track entry and a race book. Bookings are essential.<\/p>\n
Gates open at 5pm and the first race goes at 6pm.<\/p>\n
General admission is $8 for adults, $4 for pensioners and kids under 18 are free but need to be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n
