NINE Eureka Cycling Club riders ventured to Campbellfield for the VCV State Criterium Championships, with medals collected in each of the events they contested.<\/p>\n

Matthew Bowman won the Division A – Men race. James Knipe won the Division D – Men race. While Jason Hendry placed third in the Division B – Men race.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile 26 riders competed across four divisions on a sunny Weatherboard circuit last Sunday. The strong northerly wind made the 50km races extremely tough.<\/p>\n

Weatherboard, 50km graded divisions:<\/strong>
\nDivision 1<\/strong> – 1st – Matt Elkan, 2nd – Sam Smith, 3rd – Rob Ellis
\nDivision 2<\/strong> – 1st – Matt Ayres, 2nd – Craig Lightfoot, 3rd – Jeremy Humber
