COUNCILS can apply for a state government grant up to $30,000 to tackle graffiti vandalism.<\/p>\n

Schools, sporting clubs, police, businesses and other community groups can partner with their local council to put themselves forward for the Graffiti Prevention Grants program.<\/p>\n

Member for Wendouree, Juliana Addison said the program will help neighbourhoods to create solid graffiti management approaches.<\/p>\n

\u201cIllegal graffiti can have negative impacts on the look and feel of our great city,\u201d she said. \u201cThese grants will support community-led projects that prevent graffiti vandalism, beautify spaces and improve perceptions of public safety.\u201d<\/p>\n
