THE last leg of a fundraising walk for mental health will travel 18kms through Ballarat, concluding in Buninyong on Saturday, 13 April.<\/p>\n

The aim of the walk, organised by Hope Assistance Local Tradies, is to fund the 12-month employment of a part-time counsellor who will support trades people in the Bendigo and Ballarat areas. The group hopes to raise at least $50,000.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s estimated walkers will have completed 159.3kms across the six-day walk which will begin in Bendigo and also move through Harcourt, Fryerstown, Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and Creswick.<\/p>\n

HALT works with tradies in regional communities to provide mental health and wellbeing support, hoping to decrease suicide statistics.<\/p>\n
