VERY changeable winds and high gusts from the south swinging south westerly and sometimes westerly confronted sailors Ballarat Yacht Club racing on Saturday.<\/p>\n
There were two races of two laps with pretty consistent wind from 12 to 18 knots in the first race and the slightly lower winds 8 to 12 knots in the second.<\/p>\n
However, it was gusty with many boats capsizing but all crews recovered safely. It was also cold with a biting rain.<\/p>\n
In all five jubilees, three lasers and three miscellaneous crews ventured out.<\/p>\n
