HOP on down to Wendouree Archery Club For something completely different this Easter.<\/p>\n
The club is holding its annual Easter novelty fun shoot at its home range in Prince of Wales Park on Saturday, 20 April.<\/p>\n
Members and first timers can take aim at Easter themed targets such as balloons filled with Easter eggs or polystyrene foam bunnies.<\/p>\n
Hit the balloon and take home the Easter eggs inside.<\/p>\n
There will also be egg shaped orbs hanging between the targets.<\/p>\n
Instructor Elizabeth McCracken said these are harder to shoot at than you would think.<\/p>\n
\u201cClub instructors will be on hand to give a safety talk and demonstrate to people new to archery, how to stand and where to aim,\u201d Ms McCracken said.<\/p>\n
The fun will start at 10.30, so beginner archers will have a chance to learn the ropes before festivities begin.<\/p>\n
The Club is providing a barbeque lunch at 12 noon to round off the morning\u2019s event.<\/p>\n
After lunch club members will compete in the Alf Robinson Memorial Shoot, the second shoot in its new Autumn Handicap Shield competition.<\/p>\n
