THE Ballarat leg of the hugely popular White Night events now has a confirmed date. Saturday, 21 September will see the city and its buildings lit up as part of the visual art spectacular.<\/p>\n
Last year over 60,000 people turned out to view the illuminations, including and estimated 15,000 not from Ballarat.<\/p>\n
A State government spokesperson said the economic boost the local economy was said to be around the $5 million mark in 2018.<\/p>\n
Member for Buninyong Michaela Settle said she was excited to see what this year\u2019s event would offer.<\/p>\n
\u201cBallarat is renowned for putting on a great show and each year White Night Ballarat gets bigger and better,\u201d she said. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see what this year\u2019s event holds.\u201d<\/p>\n
