It is a good idea to stand over the road from your home, take a photo and have a look at what is good about your property\u2019s front appearance, and what is not good about it, with fresh eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Your front fence may need a tidy up, or some hedging plants put in to define the boundary or pathway.<\/p>\n<p>Your front path may also need a tidy up. If you don\u2019t want to use pavers, you can tidy and unify the whole front with some small river pebbles.<\/p>\n<p>Take an objective look at your front presentation. Does one element draw your eye into the property or are you distracted by a messy aspect such as an old side fence.<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of landscaping ideas that can be used to provide screening or ground cover. For vertical screening, or to create a boundary, consider pittosporum, ornamental pears, or clumping bamboo. Most plant nurseries are happy to give advice on what planting materials to use.<\/p>\n<p>You can direct a buyers\u2019 focus by positioning an element which is particularly attractive, such as a smart letterbox, plant support, or pots, close to the front door.<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of great letterbox and house number designs that can help you add some wow factor to the front of your property.
