BIG changes are happening at 99.9 Voice FM and to compliment them the community broadcaster has announced a fresh new brand.<\/p>\n

Produced by prolific Ballarat designer Peter Lambert, Voice\u2019s new logo incorporates key elements of what station is all about.<\/p>\n

\u201cComing to a microphone was fairly quick,\u201d Mr Lambert said. \u201cBut then it was a matter of finessing and working with that initial concept and trying to get it to work properly. There were a number on iterations to get it to its final form.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even if you don\u2019t know him by name, you\u2019ve seen Mr Lambert\u2019s work across the city.<\/p>\n

A designer for 40 years, he\u2019s the talent behind things like the Eureka Memorial Park, and Her Majesty\u2019s Theatre, signage and the \u2018Ballarat Eureka\u2019 special interest number plates. Mr Lambert said seeing his work used every day gives him a \u201cbuzz.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s quite gratifying,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\"\"The new Voice FM logo is part of a wider set of changes<\/a> at the community radio station, including a relocation from the current Dawson Street South studios to Barkly Square.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of the renewal of Voice FM we have launched a new logo, a refreshing new look and feel that supports change, new beginnings and a bright bold future for Ballarat\u2019s community radio station,\u201d said board member Mike Hills.<\/p>\n

Mr Lambert said all the changes going on at Voice were a key factor in his design work.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the new board, the new logo just signals a fresh start,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
