Now, in a world first, Federation University announced it has partnered with the World Academy of Sport to offer a global online undergraduate degree in international sports management.<\/p>\n
The collaboration underlines the university\u2019s growing international reputation in sports science and management which will be further enhanced with opening of its new $15 million Health and Sports Precinct next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough the World Academy of Sport, our new international sports management degree will be offered to elite athletes and those aspiring to a sporting career right around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
The British based World Academy of Sport is renowned for delivering tailored educational programmes for athletes, managers, administrators, officials and coaches across the globe.<\/p>\n
Chris Solly, World Academy of Sport\u2019s Managing Director, said its aim has always been to offer a complete education program for the sports industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are excited to be working with Federation University to launch the undergraduate stage of that journey,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough offering this degree as a distance program, it will provide flexibility for those looking to achieve this important qualification alongside their existing careers or activities.\u201d<\/p>\n
As an introduction to this qualification the university will offer three new sports management subjects to secondary school students around the globe through the International Baccalaureate Career Programme.<\/p>\n
