BUNINYONG\u2019S annual Smart Building and Living Expo is back for its seventh year at Royal Park on Sunday, 23 February.<\/p>\n

This year, the event has a focus on climate change, with its slogan \u2018Care Dare to Change\u2019 inspired by youth environmental activist, Greta Thunberg.<\/p>\n

At the free event, patrons can look forward to the largest display of electric vehicles the expo has ever seen, alongside eco-friendly building and lifestyle services, kids\u2019 activities and food vans.<\/p>\n

Event director Andrea Mason encourages people to come and see how they can make a small change, with a big impact.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis expo is about making it easy to make the change,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s about finding the products, being able to talk to people and breaking everything down so the information can be made more accessible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perhaps also inspired by Greta Thunberg, students from the Buninyong Primary School will be showing off their solar boats and their Energy Breakthrough car.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Can Do\u2019 Community Hall is back again, with Buninyong Boomerang Bags offering free homemade bags and the Ballarat Repair Caf\u00e9 demonstrating repairs for household items.<\/p>\n

Head to Royal Park on the corner of Warrenheip and Hedrick Streets, Buninyong between 10am and 3.30pm on Sunday, 23 February to get involved.<\/p>\n
