{"id":67206,"date":"2020-02-20T05:50:01","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T18:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/?p=67206"},"modified":"2020-02-19T11:08:53","modified_gmt":"2020-02-19T00:08:53","slug":"country-week-rolls-into-the-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/sport\/country-week-rolls-into-the-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Country Week rolls into the city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BY MICHELLE TAIT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CENTRAL Wendouree Bowling Club was the venue for the Ballarat District Bowls Division Men\u2019s Country Week held between 11 and 14 February.<\/p>\n<p>Teams from across the region, consisting of 36 pairs, 21 triples and 17 fours contested events.<\/p>\n<p>Pairs winners were Allan Currie and Geoff Fraser from Invermay, with runners up Laurie Judd and John Dellavedova representing Clunes.<\/p>\n<p>Triples was won by Learmonth\u2019s Tim Griffen, Craig Findlay and Ross Powell and second were a combined squad of Chris Ward from Bungaree and Jai Chamberlain and John Matusik out of Creswick.<\/p>\n<p>The Fours was won by a rink from Waubra, L Mullane, Bill Harrison, Greg Loader and Bob Williamson.
