HAVING owned and operated Touch\u00e9 for thirteen years, Nicole van Berkel knows a thing or two about hair and beauty.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe offer all beauty services so massage, facial, waxing, tinting, manicures and pedicures as well as five hairdressers on the team to men\u2019s and lady\u2019s hairdressing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe try and use all Australian owned and Australian made environmentally friendly products and some of our products are vegan, but they are all paraben and sulphate free.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although due to COVID restrictions, the beauty side of the business had to close during the year, Ms van Berkel said she could continue offering hair services.<\/p>\n

\u201cI decided to just stay open and push through and I feel like it might\u2019ve been the best decision I could have made because now my business is booming,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough, it\u2019s a little more difficult this Christmas having to split our shifts to fit clients in.\u201d<\/p>\n

For this festive season, Touch\u00e9 are offering unique gift packs for customers who may need a fresh cut or a total pamper.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur range of packages which include different treatments depending on what people want to spend or what the person they are buying for would enjoy most,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best idea is to pre-purchase a gift voucher and if they can\u2019t come into the salon, we can send it out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there\u2019s ever been a time where the small businesses need support, it\u2019s now, and buying a gift voucher is the way to show your support.\u201d<\/p>\n
