Two detailed Christmas backdrops have been set up at the shopping centre with the aim of brining just a little bit more festive joy to our lives.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted to give families an opportunity to take their Christmas photos, but also provide children with a place to imagine and see the magic of Christmas,\u201d said Katerina Tsamourtzis, marketing manager for Coltman Plaza.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are excited that we could team up with our local partners in Lucas to achieve this and also see the smiles on the faces on our little members of our community.\u201d<\/p>\n
Two scenes have been created, one is a sneak peak into where Santa hangs his hat after a hard day in the sleigh, while the other is all about the anticipation of the big man\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n
Along with the two festive photo settings, Christmas decorations made by students from Lucas Primary School and Sienna Catholic School have been put up around the centre to push the seasonal cheer to another level.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s also great to be able to display the artwork of the local children, as they have had a tough year and their beautiful creations haven\u2019t had the opportunity to be admired,\u201d Ms Tsamourtzis said.<\/p>\n
Coltman Plaza at Lucas is open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n
If you do end up taking photos at the displays, there\u2019s a prize on offer.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are encouraging families to visit the centre during opening hours and take photos as you wish,\u201d Ms Tsamourtzis said.<\/p>\n
