AFTER the success of the first warehouse clearance sale in November, Cafs held another event last weekend.<\/p>\n

The warehouse stocked and sold second hand and pre-loved women\u2019s, men\u2019s and kids\u2019 clothing, toys and homewares with prices starting at $1, with the aim of collecting funds for various Cafs programs.<\/p>\n

Cafs CEO Wendy Sturgess said such initiatives strive to care for vulnerable children and their families which includes foster care,<\/p>\n

financial counselling, men\u2019s behaviour change and youth care.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love to see bargain hunters come along and help us clear out the warehouse while supporting a very worthy cause,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

In addition to the $2500 raised from the first warehouse sale, Cafs\u2019 second warehouse sale attracted over 100 customers and brought it over $1000 over the two days.<\/p>\n

While the sales have proved a success for the organisation, Ms Sturgess said Cafs has not yet planned another sale but would keep the community updated if it does.<\/p>\n

In addition, Ms Sturgess said Cafs\u2019 own op shops, known as Wozzles, were closed in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
